Eric Carle inspired paper firefly. pastel relief fireflies We are late on the insect books, but Baby Sis watched the old Disney Grasshopper and Ants video. These weeks she practiced more on her writing and reading too. I am late with the ants too...I really should get that going.

Bible We revised Philippians 1 this week History We learnt about the last emperor of China, Vietnam, and the Wright Brothers. We also did the state study of Oklahoma. Science For Science, we learnt about machines and flight (great tie-in). Airfoil airplanes Language and Math We continue with language arts and Math. Read A-louds This week we continued reading On the Banks of Plum Creek and Hudson Taylor (not as a read-aloud). Art For art, we did Eric Carle Inspired Paper. Since we did I-i Insect for Baby Sis. It was quite fun to do the texturing. I think they turned out pretty cool!
