 This week was extra fun because there was a few days' break (Labor Day). First, Daddy surprised us by treating us to One Vanderbilt Summit. We live in an amazing city and often we take it for granted. Then on Labor Day, we went to Old Westbury Gardens and it was a great time with the grandparents. We started the Story Of the World spine for our year. For every lesson there is a map, outline, and review questions. I really like it. I made some review questions into google quizzes. We studied the Sepoy Mutiny, Japan Reopens, and the Crimean War this week. And the girls did a post test with flying colors. We just need to work on spelling. Lil Sis joined a co-op (first time in our homeschooling life!) for her 8th grade Biology.  I think she will have a blast.
