4th/2nd Grade Creation to the Greeks
Ten Commandments:
I am the LORD your God...you shall have no other gods before me.
You shall not make for yourself an idol.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain
Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy
Honor your father and your mother
You shall not murder
You shall not commit adultery
You shall not steal
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor
Bible/History
- Discussed and memorized the 9th commandment
- We read on the accounts of how God rescued the Israelites across the red sea and how He gave them the ten commandments
We also started the Advent Reading. This year we are following this materials and learning about the names of Jesus. It is very meaningful to me.

We learnt about soil, what it is made up of and also rocks in soil

And lookey!! Big Sis beginning to learn cursive. She is very interested in it and she is very diligent. I always begin to teach them cursive when I see that they have improved in their penmanship for manuscript (a sign that their fine motor skills are more developed)

- Why is Jesus "Prince of Peace" and not "King"? Because he is Son of God? Because "prince" is a highest order name?
- Can you believe that God spoke to the people directly the ten commandments? And that Aaron SAW God? Yet they worshipped the calf????
