PLANS FOR 2016

I used some time in the end of the year to plan some things to do in the new year.

1. Preschool for Baby Sis
YAY!! I am planning stuff for her to do! I thought of letting her go through a thematic preschool for one and half year. Since this MIGHT be the last time I have a chance to teach the littles (SOB!!!), I thought I really wanted to do some thing I have always wanted do - thematic study. She will begin with "Winter" in January.
I am excited!!

2. I wanted to work a little harder with Lil Sis on her sight words. So, I might plan out some games for her.

3. We took a LONG time to read Twice Freed. Now we are moving on to "Door in the Wall". I hope we will do better in this one, if possible.

Online Resources: Sesame Street Games

I love the Sesame Street Games ...I think they are the best for preschoolers. They teach important concepts, at the same time, making computer skills real easy. For eg, there is no "click and drag"...that's hard for them...there's "click" "move" "click". There are some games Ian really likes...(click on photo for the games) That's the Wheels on the Bus song (you press the keys foe interactive movements) Patterns. Seasons. Fun for the kids. Walking the dogs...numbers. This is alltime favorite. First you make a pitcher of lemonade. Then depending on how many monsters come, you click however many cups. I love it!

I did do most of the cutting though. We also enjoyed the different videos we watched and the experiments. I think this is the most successful science year yet.
