10th Grade 2020-2021 Week 9

The 10th grader has been working on his research paper this past two weeks. I found some interesting resource to help him with the learning This article is an overview on writing a paper and edits. Also he has been learning about molecules and chemical equations. The molecular model is a fun lab. I found this video that teaches on balancing the equation. Sometimes it is good to watch these videos for different ways of learning. He also continues on his history learning of middle ages and the church.

Bible This week we memorized Rom 12:4-5. And we read more about the 1st century church and the missionary journeys of Paul. These videos really helped us understand Acts better. We made these pages from the Project Passport (Ancient Rome) . I cannot recommend more highly about a homeschool product than this one for Ancient Rome. These are just some examples of what they found. And we learnt about muscles. Foreign Language We are learnin

Taking artistic shots. =) And then after many many failures, the determined child won. She is my fourth success in learning to ride without training wheels. It was quite a day. We rejoiced and celebrated with her. Last Saturday we watched Sight and Sound Theater's "Queen Esther". Very proud of this quality production. Also, during the break week, we (either hubby or I) had the chance to bring the kids out for dates (outdoor dining for us). We haven't done that for a while and it was good to spend some time with them individually. As part of the career exploration for Big Bro, I asked him to do a personality test . I did it myself too. This is similar to Myers-Briggs Inventory. Two things are very fascinating to me. One, my type changed. From INTJ to ISFJ. Did motherhood change m
