This week we learnt about the Reformers. We did some lapbook components on them. I dug out my Institute of Excellence in Writing (Andrew Pudewa) lessons that I got a few years ago and decided I'm going to start teaching writing in a different manner!! Now I'm listening to the lessons DVD by DVD (I'm almost half way). For John Wycliff, I let Baby Sis paste the info about him on the lapbook. For Lil Sis I worked with her using keywords. For John Huss, we read the passage together and wrote the keywords together. If you know IEW, you can see the keywords. Then they have to retell me the sentences they wrote from the keywords. They then wrote the piece out on their own. For Martin Luther, I asked them to do the keywords on their own. This was Baby Sis' Then they retold the story to me and I typed them out. After that I asked them to do one dress up each. Lil Sis did a "who-which" and Baby Sis did a "ly" word. We did the same for William Tyndale. I als
