2021-2022 Week 22

 We moved away from the American Revolution and go on to 1850. We are using Homeschool in the Woods Early19th Century Pack  and other readings suggested by MFW Exploration to 1850, trying to piece them by time line. At the same time, we will do 2 to 3 states research every week, and 1 to 2 presidents every week. The plan is to finish 25 states this year, and 12 presidents. President Study: We read from these books and also watched a video for every president. HISTORY We talked about James Cook, and also the French Revolution in terms of chronological importance. The girls listened to Story of the World and did google quizzes I made for them. State Study: We studied New Jersey, Georgia, and Connecticut this week. This is an example. Preschool Winter Unit: Jan 2022

 Wee Bro started Preschool this year and I dug out the materials I used for Baby Sis and was reminded once again how much I LOVE unit study.  and we are studying Winter! We did some basic skills Look! This week we had all the weather! Sheet Protector and dry erase crayons. I love this activity sheet. He looks forward to it EVERYDAY. He can practice letters, and chinese characters We also used this very outdated app for his Chinese, which he LOVES. And oh, did we tell you how much we love the Duoling ABC app ? It's so fun.
