MFW 1st Grade/Preschool Wks 7-8

The Raft We had lots of fun in " Canada " for ECC Bible  Copywork really helps in penmanship. Love how she looks at life. This is a note she wrote to her little sis. Did the Greek Alphabet sheet. She loved it. Day 1: light Day 2: Sky We started reading the Bible Reader and the bible notebook (doing my own this year). Math Big sis has been very good in Math since K, these addition/subtraction are almost revision for her but it is good for her hone in her skills, I feel. Started the coin part of the daily calenda

MFW ECC Wks 7-8 Canada

* My pinterest page, booklist, planning pages are on the side bar* Overview Bible:   Garifuna, Greenland, Mt 5:11, Mt 5:12 Christian Heros:  Cameron Townsend, William Booth, George Muller Geography:  Cananda, Vocab(bay, cape, continental shelf) Math:  Multiplication tables, Division Language:  Lessons 6/7 ( ㄏ ㄑ ㄡ ㄩ ㄆ ㄓ ㄐ ㄞ ), Spelling Power Science:  Food Chains, Plant and animal life Art:  Inuit soap carving, maple leaf folding Books we read:  Canada A to Z Canada (Que and Ans book) Our Centerpiece Bible Memorized Mt 5:11-12 Christian Heroes We completed Cameron Townsend and read on William Booth and George Muller (for Hero Tales) It started off with me really liking the fact we are reading on Cameron Townsend, but it kind of got boring. I feel that there were WAYYYY too much details and also too many "indeed"s.  But we finished it...quite a feat I must say. We really enjoyed reading HT though Geography Off to Canada we go!  Big guy re
