Bible This week we revised Bible memory James 2:1-8 And we memorized James 2:9-12 We learnt this hymn. History We learnt about Japan and the Manchus. And we continued reading Madeleine Takes Command Language Science We took a break this week for Science. Next week we will go into zoology. Art We are using Artistic Pursuits K-3 (Book 2) this year. Bible This week we revised Bible memory James 2:1-4 And we memorized James 2:5-8 History We learnt about India and Taj Mahal. We played parcheesi and this video taught us well. And we continued reading Madeleine Takes Command Language Science We learnt about gymnosperms this week. This was the cone we found We put it in cold water And this happened. Then we put it in the oven at 250deg It opened up again. It was quite fun to see that pine cones open in dry and warm climate. We also went outside and looked at the gymnosperms. September we are doing "ALL ABOUT ME" for Baby Sis. Books we read. Mirror These playdoh face mats are so fun. They started normal, then went crazy. The last one was a snotty girl. HAHAHA. We still do the Big Book from Aldi and we are learning colors too. Picture/Name puzzle. Learning the important alphabet in her name. Name Activity "Handbook" of Baby Sis. She LOVES her handbook How big is your foot? Activity Got the info of her height into the handbook. Clothpeg name activity Chinese name I took pictures of her favorite toys and made a worksheet for her. She was SOOOO delighted and every other sibling SUPER amused.
